Choose Your Occasion¶
Occasion types are separate workspaces
Each type has its own themes, plans, budgets, and tasks. Switching types doesn’t delete anything.
Uthsav organizes planning into three occasion types:
- Weddings
- Festivals
- Events (birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and more)
How to Choose¶
- From the homepage, select Weddings, Festivals, or Events.
- You will be taken to the Dashboard for that occasion type.
What Changes When You Switch Types¶
Each occasion type has its own:
- Theme inspiration set
- Saved event plans (activities)
- Budgets and tasks attached to those plans
Switching types does not delete anything. It simply changes the “planning workspace” you are viewing.
Where to Find the Tools¶
Once you are on a dashboard, you’ll use these sections most often:
- Dashboard: view your saved plans for this occasion type
- Manage Themes: explore and generate themes (moodboards)
- Manage Budgets: budget planning for a specific saved plan
- Manage Tasks: task checklist planning for a specific saved plan
