Event Plans (Activities)

An event plan in Uthsav is an “activity” you want to organize (for example: “Mehendi Night”, “Diwali Dinner”, “Birthday Brunch”). Plans connect your theme inspiration with real planning tools like budgets and tasks.

Create a Plan

  1. Choose an occasion type (Weddings, Festivals, or Events).
  2. Go to Manage Themes and pick a theme you like.
  3. When prompted to create a plan, enter:
  4. Plan name (activity name)
  5. At least one location
  6. A date for each location entry
  7. Save the plan.

Requirements

  • You must be logged in to save a plan.
  • Location search uses OpenStreetMap-based lookup; choose a suggestion to capture the location accurately.

View Your Plans

  1. Open the Dashboard for your occasion type.
  2. Your saved plans appear as a list.

From each plan card you can quickly navigate to:

  • Manage Budgets (budget icon)
  • Manage Tasks (task/checklist icon)

Next steps

After you create a plan, set a quick budget and add a few tasks to get momentum.

Edit a Plan

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Select the edit option on the plan you want to update.
  3. Update the plan name, locations, dates, or theme.
  4. Save your changes.

Change the Theme for a Plan

  1. Start editing the plan.
  2. Choose Change Theme.
  3. Browse “All themes” or “My themes”.
  4. Select a new theme and save.

Delete a Plan

  1. Open the Dashboard.
  2. Select the delete option on the plan.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Important: deleting a plan also removes its attached budgets and tasks.
